Title: Building your Donor Persona(s): A Storytelling and Data Approach to Prospecting

Picture
Presented by:
Kelsey Picken, PhD, CFRE, CSPG
Director, Legacy & Gift Planning
Children’s Medical Center Foundation - Dallas

Program Description:
Storytelling is not only imperative for moving a fundraising conversation forward; it also helps us better understand our prospects. But what happens when you overlap these with your organization’s historical donor data? By stretching beyond archetypes and dismantling assumptions, this session will walk through how to uncover your organization's unique donor giving behaviors and values to more clearly identify who your prospects are, as well as stretch you to see who else they could be.

About the Presenter:

Recent winner of the Association of Healthcare Professionals “40 Under 40” award, Kelsey Picken, PhD, CFRE, CSPG currently serves as the director of legacy & gift planning at Children’s Medical Center Foundation in Dallas. Prior to moving to the Metroplex, she served as a fundraiser across higher education, museums, and health care sectors in Los Angeles.
