About Us

Northern California Planned Giving Council (NCPGC) is a professional organization dedicated to:

  • Encouraging charitable gift planning;
  • Promoting a wider understanding of charitable gift planning by both non- and for-profit practitioners; and
  • Raising the technical skills and professional competence of charitable gift planners.    

Council members are non-profit gift planners, attorneys, consultants, CPAs, financial planners, insurance agents, stock brokers, trust officers and other philanthropy advisors. Logo_blue_2

 

NCPGC is proud to offer its members:

  • Five Primer Programs for those newer to the field.
  • Five Luncheon Programs/Meetings each year with speakers addressing a wide variety of topics affecting charitable gift planners
  • Masters Programs for advanced gift planning professionals.
  • The Basics Course - 16 hours of instruction from experienced planned giving practitioners - for beginners (or as a refresher for intermediate level).
  • A one-day Planned Giving Conference offering Fundamentals, Intermediate, and Advanced tracks and featuring nationally-known speakers. 
  • Five Virtual Seminars presented by nationally known planned giving professionals.
  • Networking opportunities with other gift planners and allied professionals at all events.
  • e-Newsletter and encourages participation on committees including government and community relations.
